Our showroom is configured in such a way that you can actually trial a full colour management workflow in action. We believe that this is the only installation of it's kind in Australia (and international region).

We will be demonstrating some of the latest technology in print, design & photo editing such as:

• Wacom interactive pen displays
• NEC Spectraview colour critical monitors
• Apple Xserve & computers
• HP Designjet Z series printers
  (including internal colour spectrophotometers for internal colour calibration)
• Ilford inkjet media such as Omnijet, Galerie, & Professional ranges
• Light viewing booths
• And for the first time in the region, we will be demonstrating the brand new Barbieri Electronic "Spectro Swing R" automated spectro.

Our showroom demonstrates one of the largest and most amazing floor graphics to date comprising a realistic 8mtr x7.5mtr 3D rendering by a local artist.

We're busy fitting this brand new 365 mtr2 complex out with one of the cleanest sealed and climate managed warehouses you have seen in the industry, and the first running colour labratory of it's type in the regeion demonstrating the absolute latest colour technology including:

• and a state of the art Pro Apple showroom including what we believe the to be the only Apple Xserve with Leopard 10.5 server in showroom demonstration in Asutralia

Earlier in June, cielab launched a new forums site in order to offer a new level of unique customer support frequently completely unavailable in the region.

The site is free for all professionals that require digital output accuracy to join and participate in, with cielab moderating it to strictly topic related posts regarding colour management or mentioned products. This includes member "user group" only sections for both BARBIERI electronic products, and Apple Mac Leopard 10.5 server. These sections are available only by request to restrict the member group to only those verified to have, use and know the related products ensuring interaction with only equivilent or experienced users. We've been kicking off the topics and discussions but you are welcome to get involved and get new topics running straight away.

Cielab imports Australia's first BARBIERI electronic Spectro LFP RT for internal testing. The LFP (large format print) is a spectrophotometer like no other. It is capable of profiling rigid media up to 20mm thick for front or rear illumination by lighting the media exactly as the human eye would see it on a print. The most amazing thing is that its fully automated and very fast.

Cielab is currently using the Spectro LFP exclusively for all our colour work and the results speak for themselves.
