CAD, GIS and 3D Modelling

CAD, 3D Modelling, Mapping, Architectural, colour line work and associated markets

The CAD, Architectural, Mapping industries have been using colour plotters for some time now and while the focus was and still is not on colour accuracy in the way photographers or prepress may be, Cielab have discovered the need in these markets for better line colour definition and media handling.

Presentations of 3D modelling to your customers is such an important part of an approval on your design, shouldn't it look it's best?

Contrary to what most believe, the colours on your print don't print the same on one stock to the next - even though your plotter says heavy weight coated, and you are using a heavy weight coated, unless it's the exact manufacturers product that was originally profiled your results are somewhat random. Some of the plotters are a few years old (why replace it if it goes great) and the manufacturers have even changed their OEM media so even if you do your best to use HP paper on a HP plotter, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will print as well as it could.

We can have a no obligation look at your setup to see if the plotter settings match the stock you use. If they do your results (even on plain coated bond) will be far superior - you will experience less bleeding, better definition between similar shades, and better line colour separation.
